Snapshots:
8. Back Porch Band

Well I love the sound of a fiddle string, in the hands of a man who can make it sing
Playing that melody clear and sweet, it'll touch your heart and tickle your feet

And when I hear that mandolin, it's like the voice of a good ole friend
Takes me back to a simpler day, makes my troubles melt away

Woah let's get started, who knows when we'll be parted
No time to be downhearted on this night
And let's play some good ole music, my heart sure could use it
Live it up a little while we can, playin' in a back porch bluegrass band

Well I know a man who plays the bass, with a big ole grin on his face
Cause every note's so deep and low, strikes a chord in his soul

When I've had all I can bear, of a life that isn't always fair
Nothin' sets my soul as ease, like that high mountain harmony

Woah let's get started, who knows when we'll be parted
No time to be downhearted on this night
And let's play some good ole music, my heart sure could use it
Live it up a little while we can, playin' in a back porch bluegrass band

And when it's late, when the night has fallen
We can play, with Acadian's callin
Then we'll know, long after we're gone
They'll keep up this song

Woah let's get started, who knows when we'll be parted
No time to be downhearted on this night
And let's play some good ole music, my heart sure could use it
Live it up a little while we can, playin' in a back porch bluegrass band
